• Webpage Content: When you explicitly activate the extension on a webpage, we extract the visible text content (article body and title) of that specific tab.
• Extension Usage Data: Technical metadata required for the Puter.js SDK to communicate with the AI backend.

We use the collected information solely for the following purposes:

• AI Analysis: The extracted text is sent to the Puter AI backend to generate rhetorical metrics, bias mapping, and ideological identification.
• Local Caching: Analysis results are stored in your browser's local storage so that previously audited articles load instantly upon revisits.

All cached analysis data remains on your local device. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser cache or uninstalling the extension. Content sent to the AI backend for analysis is processed in-memory and is not permanently stored by the extension developer.
